A film about an extremely talented cigarette lobbyist who is faced daily with the question of how he could possibly live with himself.
I honestly thought think this is one of the best movies of the year. The acting was excellent, the humor witty(and extremely funny), the cinematography great, and the characters priceless.
I have a feeling you will see the lead role Aaron Eckhart alot more after this film.
His performance helped carry the film hands down. The story was one of the best aspects of the movie as well. I never thought that something like a cig lobbyist would entice my attention in the least. I was sucked into the plot from the beginning and wasn't tired until the end when the credits rolled.
The only thing that kept catching my eye about the film was the editing. Some of the action between cuts didn't match up at all. Only slightly so that a casual viewer definetly would not notice. But I assure you it will not win an Oscar for editing.
Excellent movie, best of the year so far, highly recommended. A refreshing breeze of original story and characters.
