I remember watching an old recorded VHS copy over and over as a kid when we didn't have cable(that and recorded episodes of Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, I Love Lucy, and The Andy Griffith Show). Needless to say the movie was awesome still to this day. A CLASSIC!
The reason why I chose this particular picture instead of one of the many iconic beach crane scenes is because as a kid the skeleton chase/beat down was the most impactful to me. On many emotional fronts it got me. Uneasy, fear, adrenaline, rescue, sadness, surprise, creepy, excitement, relief, ect... I love the costumes as well.
Amazing movie that took me back 15 years. Definitely blog worthy.
Daniel: Wouldn't a fly swatter be easier?
Miyagi: Man who catch fly with chopstick accomplish anything.
Daniel: Ever catch one?
Miyagi: Not yet.
