Dead Man

The icing on the cake was the Johnny Depp film that I'd only heard whispers about called "Dead Man". It was actually pretty much a one time amazing. Probably one of the most unusual artsy fartsy films I've watched in a long time. Every aspect was unique...and shall I say unprecedented to the western genre yet somehow it still all worked together to make a beautiful little piece of art. The actors were coming out of the wood work. John Hurt, Crispin Glover, Michael Wincott(the only thing cool about Alien Ressurection),Iggy Pop, Gabriel Byrne, Robert Mitchum, and lest we forget Billy Bob Thorton and Alfred Molina.

The director was Jim Jarmusch the guy who did Coffee and Ciggs, Ghost Dog, and Broken Flowers. Anyway, the plot was about...cue IMDB...On the run after murdering a man, accountant William Blake encounters a strange Indian named "Nobody" who prepares him for his journey into the spiritual world. OH! Adam! Bishop from Aliens is the lead bounty hunter/cannibal/rapist and has some crazy screen would appreciate it.
